Gellert hydrotherapy bath (Gellért gyógyfürdő)

The source of the bath is useful for bathing, drinking procedures and inhalations. Gellert Therapeutic Bath is the most beautiful in Budapest, built in the Secession style and opened in 1918. The interior of the bath is made in the Turkish style with art nouveau ceramics, the hall is decorated with sculptures, marble columns, stained glass windows. The whole complex includes 13 swimming pools: indoor and outdoor baths with a pool with artificial waves, a jacuzzi, a seated outdoor and indoor pool, a children's pool. In the medicinal bath you can use all the medical services — a comprehensive physiotherapy department, inhalation, balneotherapy, weight baths, hydrotherapy, mechanotherapy, electrotherapy. The bath includes a jacuzzi with a wave pool, mud treatments, a female and general nudist solarium on the roof, a swimming pool in the park. For the treatment of asthma — a special inhalation room, cabinets with mountain air and wet steam.
